Issue: No auto-detection of the SD card on SD Controller device (SD Bus) for encryption if the auto encryption policy is applied on the endpoint


Summary: Endpoint is configured with Encrypt policy (encrypt removable devices). If a SD card is connected to the endpoint, which uses SD Card host/bus, no prompt is displayed to encrypt the SD card.


Workaround:

To encrypt SD card manually, follow these steps.

1. Apply Manage Locally/SVE None policy on endpoint.

2. Connect SD Card to the endpoint.

3. Open Seqrite Volume Encryption. All available volume details appear.

4. Select and right click the SD card and click Encrypt.

5. Enter password to start encrypting process.

To decrypt SD card manually, follow these steps.

1. Apply Manage Locally/SVE None policy on endpoint.

2. Connect SD Card to the Endpoint.

3. Open Seqrite Volume Encryption. All available volume details appear.

4. Select and right click the SD card and click Decrypt.

5. Enter password to decrypt SD card.

To mount encrypted SD card manually, follow these steps.

1. Apply Manage Locally/SVE None policy on endpoint.

2. Connect SD Card to the Endpoint.

3. Open Seqrite Volume Encryption. All available volume details appear.

4. Select and right click the SD card and click Mount.
